Chief Legal Officer (CLO)

Role Summary: The Chief Legal Officer (CLO) will be responsible for overseeing all legal affairs of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., providing strategic legal counsel to the board of directors and senior management, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations within the Indian entertainment industry. This role requires a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, intellectual property, media law, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive legal strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.

Advise the Board of Directors and senior management on all legal matters, including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.

Oversee all litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters.

Manage and protect the company's intellectual property portfolio, including copyrights, trademarks, and patents.

Ensure compliance with all Indian and international laws and regulations relevant to the media and entertainment sector, including broadcasting, digital media, and film production.

Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and agreements.

Lead and manage the legal department, fostering a high-performing team.

Provide legal guidance on content creation, licensing, and distribution.

Stay abreast of emerging legal trends and regulatory changes impacting the entertainment industry.
