We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Chief Legal Officer (CLO) with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing team. The CLO will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of the company, ensuring compliance with Indian labor laws and corporate regulations, and managing contracts and agreements. This role is crucial in safeguarding the company's interests and supporting its strategic objectives within the dynamic staffing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on employment law, contract law, and corporate governance relevant to the staffing and recruitment sector in India.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including employment contracts, service agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Indian laws and regulations, including labor laws, data privacy, and corporate filings.
- Manage and resolve legal disputes, litigation, and regulatory inquiries.
- Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
- Advise on intellectual property matters and corporate compliance.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in legislation affecting the staffing industry.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide legal support for business operations and strategic initiatives.
