Chief Medical Officer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead our occupational health and wellness initiatives. The CMO will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive health strategies to ensure the well-being of our employees, particularly in the context of our chemical manufacturing operations. This role requires a deep understanding of industrial hygiene, occupational diseases, and regulatory compliance within the Indian chemical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee the company's occupational health programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant Indian health and safety regulations.

Provide expert medical advice on health risks associated with chemical exposure and manufacturing processes.

Implement and manage employee health surveillance programs, including pre-employment, periodic, and exit medical examinations.

Lead emergency medical response planning and execution for workplace incidents.

Collaborate with HR and EHS departments to promote employee wellness and preventive health initiatives.

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in occupational medicine and industrial toxicology.

Manage the occupational health budget and resources effectively.

Advise senior management on health-related strategic decisions.
