Chief Officer - Operations

Role Summary:
Oversee and direct the operational strategy and execution for UPL's manufacturing facilities and supply chain within India. The Chief Officer - Operations will be responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and sustainable production processes, optimizing resource utilization, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies aligned with UPL's global and regional goals.
- Manage all aspects of plant operations, including production planning, quality control, maintenance, and safety.
- Optimize supply chain logistics, inventory management, and distribution networks.
- Drive cost-efficiency improvements and resource optimization across all operational functions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals, promoting professional development and high performance.
- Collaborate with R&D, sales, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and support business growth.
- Monitor operational performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
