Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Role Summary:
Vedanta Limited is seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee and manage the company's extensive mining and metals operations across India. The COO will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring safety and compliance, optimizing production, and contributing to the strategic growth of the company. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of the metals and mining industry, and a proven track record in managing large-scale operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve company objectives and enhance profitability.
• Oversee all day-to-day operations, including production, supply chain, logistics, and maintenance, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across all operational sites.
• Lead and mentor operational teams, fostering a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Manage operational budgets, capital expenditures, and resource allocation effectively.
• Collaborate with other senior executives to align operational plans with the company's overall strategic vision.
• Identify and implement technological advancements and best practices to optimize mining and production processes.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
