Job Description

Role Summary:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of Pratham Education Foundation. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our educational programs across India, managing resources, and driving strategic organizational growth. The COO will work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to translate the organization's vision into actionable operational plans and to maintain high standards of impact and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with Pratham's mission and goals.
  • Oversee all program operations, ensuring effective delivery and impact measurement across various geographies.
  • Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency and sustainability.
  • Lead and mentor operational teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies, donors, partners, and communities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and systems.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and organizational development initiatives.
