Chief Operating Officer, India

Role Summary: The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of DP World India, ensuring operational excellence, driving strategic initiatives, and achieving business objectives in alignment with global standards and local market dynamics. This senior leadership role requires a visionary leader with extensive experience in the ports and shipping industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability across all Indian terminals and logistics operations.
2. Lead and manage a diverse team of port and logistics professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, safety, and continuous improvement.
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
4. Drive innovation and technology adoption to optimize port operations, supply chain management, and customer service.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders, including government bodies, shipping lines, and customers, to strengthen partnerships and expand business opportunities.
6. Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure the financial health and sustainability of DP World India's operations.
7. Oversee the development and execution of strategic projects, including infrastructure upgrades and new business ventures.
