Role Summary: The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of DP World India, ensuring operational excellence, driving strategic initiatives, and achieving business objectives in alignment with global standards and local market dynamics. This senior leadership role requires a visionary leader with extensive experience in the ports and shipping industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability across all Indian terminals and logistics operations.
- Lead and manage a diverse team of port and logistics professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Drive innovation and technology adoption to optimize port operations, supply chain management, and customer service.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government bodies, shipping lines, and customers, to strengthen partnerships and expand business opportunities.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure the financial health and sustainability of DP World India's operations.
- Oversee the development and execution of strategic projects, including infrastructure upgrades and new business ventures.
