Chief Purchase Officer / Chief Procurement Officer (CPO)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Purchase Officer (CPO) to lead our procurement and supply chain operations. The CPO will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies to ensure the acquisition of high-quality raw materials, components, and services at competitive prices, supporting our growth in the electrical equipment manufacturing sector. This role requires a deep understanding of the electrical industry supply chain, strong negotiation skills, and a proven ability to manage complex supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and growth plans.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier management for raw materials, components, and indirect services.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers, ensuring reliable supply chains and optimal cost structures.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and potential supply chain risks.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of efficiency, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Implement and manage procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and production teams to understand material requirements and ensure timely availability of components.
- Manage inventory levels and optimize working capital through effective procurement planning.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes impacting the electrical equipment supply chain.
