Role Summary: The Chief Purchase Officer (CPO) will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's procurement and supply chain operations. This strategic leadership role will focus on optimizing procurement processes, driving cost efficiencies, ensuring supply chain resilience, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers to support the company's growth and operational excellence in the packaging and containers industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead and manage the procurement team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers for raw materials, machinery, and services.
- Ensure a robust and resilient supply chain, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Drive cost savings initiatives and optimize inventory management.
- Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers.
- Monitor market trends, economic conditions, and supplier performance to inform procurement decisions.
- Implement and leverage procurement technologies and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., manufacturing, R&D, finance) to meet business needs.
