Chief Purchase Officer / Chief Procurement Officer (CPO)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Chief Purchase Officer / Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to lead our procurement operations in Vishakhapatnam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-efficient acquisition of goods and services essential for our engineering and construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes, market dynamics, and supplier relationship management, with a focus on driving value and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and project timelines.
- Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance evaluation.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure competitive pricing.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring reliable supply chains.
- Develop and implement robust inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, savings, and key performance indicators to senior management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers and finance teams, to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Mitigate supply chain risks through proactive planning and diversification of supplier base.
