Job Description
Role Summary: The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management framework for HBA India's operations. This role will identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks across all business functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safeguarding the company's assets and reputation. The CRO will play a critical role in strategic decision-making by providing insights into risk exposures and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a robust enterprise-wide risk management strategy tailored to the architecture and interior design industry in India.
Identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks including financial, operational, strategic, compliance, and reputational risks.
Design and implement risk mitigation plans and controls, working closely with various departments (e.g., design, project management, finance, legal).
Monitor the effectiveness of risk management strategies and controls, reporting regularly to senior management and the board.
Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Develop and deliver risk management training programs for employees.
Oversee business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and insurance providers.
Conduct due diligence on potential partners and major projects.
