Role Summary: The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating all potential risks faced by Jindal Steel & Power Limited. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the financial, operational, and strategic risks inherent in the iron and steel industry, ensuring the company's resilience and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise-wide risk management framework.
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize risks across all business units, including market, credit, operational, strategic, and compliance risks.
- Design and oversee risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Establish and maintain robust risk reporting mechanisms for senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Foster a risk-aware culture throughout the organization.
- Monitor economic, political, and industry trends that could impact the company's risk profile.
- Lead and mentor the risk management team.
