Chief Risk Officer (CRO)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to join our dynamic team. The CRO will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive enterprise-wide risk management framework to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor all significant risks faced by the company, particularly within the metals and mining sector. This role is critical in safeguarding the company's assets, reputation, and financial stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a robust Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework tailored to the metals and mining industry.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize key risks including operational, financial, strategic, compliance, and reputational risks.
• Design and oversee risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
• Establish key risk indicators (KRIs) and monitor risk exposures against defined thresholds.
• Provide regular risk reports and insights to the Board of Directors and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
• Foster a strong risk-aware culture throughout the organization.
• Lead and mentor the risk management team.
