Chief Risk Officer (CRO)

As the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at BYJU'S, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management framework for our rapidly growing educational technology services. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and a deep understanding of design principles to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks across our diverse operations. You will champion a risk-aware culture, ensuring the long-term sustainability and success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a robust enterprise-wide risk management strategy, aligning with BYJU'S business objectives and growth plans.

Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across various functions, including operational, financial, strategic, technological, and reputational risks, with a particular focus on user experience and educational product integrity.

Design and implement risk mitigation plans, controls, and policies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.

Leverage your M.Des background to analyze potential risks related to product design, user interface, and the overall learning experience, ensuring that design choices do not introduce unforeseen risks.

Develop and maintain risk assessment tools and methodologies, including scenario analysis and stress testing.

Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management strategies to senior leadership and the board.

Foster a strong risk management culture throughout the organization through training and communication.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management considerations into decision-making processes.

Stay abreast of emerging risks and industry trends, particularly within the ed-tech sector.
