Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Chief Safety Officer (CSO) to join our growing NBFC startup. The CSO will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of our employees, customers, and assets. This role is critical in fostering a culture of safety and compliance within the organization, particularly in the dynamic financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement robust safety management systems, policies, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee emergency preparedness and response plans, including drills and training.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and national safety regulations and standards.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for all employees.
• Investigate all safety incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Manage and maintain safety records and documentation.
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, insurance providers, and other external stakeholders on safety matters.
