Chief Sustainability Officer

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) to lead and integrate sustainability initiatives across UPL Limited's global operations. The CSO will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with our business objectives and enhances our commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of sustainability best practices and a proven track record in driving impactful change within a large, complex organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement UPL's global sustainability strategy, including setting ambitious ESG targets and roadmaps.
- Oversee the integration of sustainability into all business functions, from R&D and operations to supply chain and marketing.
- Lead the reporting and disclosure of ESG performance, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
- Engage with key stakeholders, including investors, customers, employees, and regulatory bodies, on sustainability matters.
- Drive innovation in sustainable product development and business models.
- Monitor global sustainability trends and regulatory changes, advising the executive team on potential impacts and opportunities.
- Foster a culture of sustainability throughout the organization, promoting awareness and engagement among employees.
- Manage the sustainability budget and resources effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate sustainability risks and enhance opportunities.
