Civil Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team at UPL Limited. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all civil engineering aspects of our manufacturing facilities, infrastructure projects, and environmental compliance initiatives within India. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, project management, and regulatory requirements in the agrochemical industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and supervise the construction and maintenance of civil infrastructure, including buildings, roads, drainage systems, and utilities at manufacturing sites.
- Ensure all civil engineering projects comply with relevant Indian building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively for all assigned civil engineering projects.
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and prepare technical reports and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and environmental health & safety (EHS) departments.
- Oversee contractors and vendors involved in civil works, ensuring quality and timely completion.
- Implement and monitor structural integrity assessments and preventive maintenance programs for existing infrastructure.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainable engineering practices.
