Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Litigation Associate to join our legal team in India. This role will be instrumental in managing and resolving a variety of civil disputes, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations within the medical device industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of civil procedure, contract law, and intellectual property law, with a proven track record in litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and conduct civil litigation matters from initiation to resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
- Represent the company in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Advise business units on legal risks and strategies related to civil disputes.
- Manage external counsel and ensure effective litigation strategy.
- Review and interpret contracts, agreements, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations impacting the medical device industry.
