Job Description
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Claims Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of insurance claims related to our water treatment and waste management projects in India. The Claims Manager will be responsible for ensuring timely and fair resolution of claims, minimizing financial losses, and maintaining positive relationships with insurers, clients, and legal counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze insurance policies to understand coverage and limitations.
- Investigate and assess the validity and extent of claims, gathering all necessary documentation and evidence.
- Prepare and submit detailed claim reports to insurance companies and relevant stakeholders.
- Negotiate claim settlements with insurers, aiming for favorable outcomes.
- Liaise with internal project teams, legal counsel, and external adjusters to ensure comprehensive claim management.
- Monitor claim progress and ensure compliance with policy terms and conditions.
- Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate future claims.
- Maintain accurate records of all claims and related correspondence.
- Stay updated on relevant insurance laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
