Claims Manager

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Claims Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the claims process within our petrochemical and plastics division in India. The Claims Manager will be responsible for ensuring timely and fair resolution of all claims, minimizing financial exposure, and maintaining strong relationships with insurers, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance policies, legal frameworks, and the operational nuances of the petrochemical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate claims related to product liability, property damage, business interruption, and other relevant insurance policies within the petrochemical and plastics sector.

Manage the end-to-end claims lifecycle, from initial reporting and investigation to settlement and closure.

Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Legal, Operations, Finance) to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Work closely with external parties, including insurance brokers, adjusters, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies.

Develop and implement claims management strategies to reduce claim costs and improve resolution times.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of claims data and trends to senior management.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant Indian laws, regulations, and industry best practices pertaining to claims and insurance.

Provide guidance and support to internal teams on risk management and claim prevention.
