Claims Manager at Olectra Greentech Limited

Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Claims Manager with 3-5 years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of insurance claims related to our electric bus operations and manufacturing. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance policies, claims processing, and dispute resolution, coupled with a technical background to comprehend the nature of our products and potential claim scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the entire lifecycle of insurance claims, from initial reporting to final settlement, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Liaise with insurance providers, legal counsel, and third-party adjusters to gather necessary documentation and information for claims.
- Investigate and assess the validity and extent of claims, ensuring compliance with policy terms and conditions.
- Prepare detailed reports on claim status, reserves, and potential liabilities for management review.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and claimants, aiming for fair and cost-effective resolutions.
- Identify trends and patterns in claims data to recommend preventive measures and risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate and organized claim files and records.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, legal, engineering) to gather evidence and support claim submissions.
- Stay updated on relevant insurance regulations and industry best practices.
- Provide technical insights and support during the claims investigation process, leveraging B.Tech/B.E. knowledge.
