Role Summary:
The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) will provide expert clinical guidance, consultation, and education to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals within IHCL's wellness and healthcare initiatives. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest standards of patient care, promoting evidence-based practices, and contributing to the development and implementation of health and safety protocols across our properties in India. The CNS will focus on enhancing the well-being of guests and employees, particularly in relation to health emergencies, specialized care needs, and preventive health programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical advice and consultation to nursing staff and management on complex patient care issues.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nursing protocols and standards of care.
- Lead and facilitate continuing education programs for nursing staff, focusing on advanced clinical skills and emerging health trends.
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model for nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and patient safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and manage comprehensive health and wellness programs for guests and employees.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data analysis, and reporting related to patient care outcomes and health services.
- Advise on the procurement of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in nursing practice, healthcare policy, and relevant regulations in India.
