Role Summary:
Vedanta Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our occupational health team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced nursing care, health promotion, and disease prevention services to our employees at our mining and industrial sites across India. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and provide direct patient care to employees.
- Develop and implement health promotion programs, focusing on occupational health and safety.
- Manage and treat common occupational injuries and illnesses, and refer complex cases to specialists.
- Provide emergency medical response and first aid.
- Educate employees on health-related issues, including workplace hazards and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Collaborate with HR, safety officers, and management to ensure a healthy work environment.
- Participate in health surveillance programs and medical examinations.
