Role Summary: The Clinical Nurse Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing healthcare delivery and patient care within our NGO/Social Services initiatives. This position requires a unique blend of clinical nursing expertise and design thinking skills, leveraging an M.Des background to innovate and improve healthcare processes and patient experiences. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based nursing practices and contributing to the design of user-centered healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
Utilize design thinking methodologies (user research, ideation, prototyping, testing) to improve patient pathways, service delivery, and healthcare facility design.
Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment adherence.
Participate in the development and implementation of new clinical protocols and guidelines.
Conduct research and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and healthcare programs.
Contribute to the design and procurement of medical equipment and supplies, ensuring user-friendliness and efficacy.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in nursing practice and healthcare design.
