Cloud Consultant

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Consultant to join our dynamic team within the Animation & VFX division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions to support our high-performance computing needs for visual effects and animation workflows. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, cost optimization, and security best practices within the media and entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP for VFX rendering, storage, and collaboration.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure, including compute instances, storage solutions, networking, and security groups.
- Monitor cloud resource utilization and performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment, configuration management, and operational tasks.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand their technical requirements and provide cloud-based solutions.
- Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments, adhering to industry standards and company policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime for production pipelines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, evaluating their applicability to our workflows.
- Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams on cloud best practices.
