Role Summary: The Cluster / Hub Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operations of a designated cluster or hub of manufacturing units and logistics operations within the automotive components sector in India. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational execution to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across multiple sites. The Cluster / Hub Manager will drive performance improvements, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple manufacturing plants and logistics hubs within the assigned cluster.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality across all sites.
- Manage and mentor plant managers and hub leaders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 14001).
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including supply chain, production planning, engineering, and HR to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve targets.
- Manage capital expenditure and operational budgets for the cluster.
- Drive lean manufacturing principles and best practices throughout the cluster.
- Identify and implement process improvements and technological advancements.
- Ensure effective inventory management and logistics coordination within the cluster.
