Collection Executive / Officer - IT Services & Consulting Sector (2-3 Yrs)

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collection Executive / Officer with 2-3 years of experience to join our finance team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will possess an M.Tech degree and have a strong understanding of financial processes within the IT services sector. This role involves managing outstanding receivables, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively manage and follow up on outstanding invoices with clients to ensure timely collections.

Reconcile accounts receivable and identify discrepancies, investigating and resolving any payment issues.

Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and other channels to discuss payment status and negotiate payment plans when necessary.

Prepare and analyze collection reports, providing insights on aging receivables and collection trends.

Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Billing, Legal) to resolve collection-related issues.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and client communications.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to debt collection.

Assist in the development and implementation of effective collection strategies.
