Collection Head

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Collection Head to lead and optimize our collections operations within the Hardware & Networking division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective collection strategies, managing the collections team, and ensuring timely recovery of outstanding debts while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive collection strategies to minimize delinquency and bad debt.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of collection specialists, setting performance goals and conducting regular reviews.
- Monitor and analyze collection performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement and enforce collection policies and procedures in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with customers.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and legal departments to resolve complex collection issues.
- Manage relationships with external collection agencies and legal counsel.
- Prepare regular reports on collection activities, aging, and recovery rates for senior management.
- Ensure the efficient use of collection software and tools.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the collections department.
