Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Collection / Recovery Manager to lead our collections team and manage the recovery of outstanding debts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective collection strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and minimizing delinquency rates while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive collection strategies to recover overdue accounts.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of collection agents to achieve performance targets.
- Monitor collection activities, analyze performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements in debt collection practices.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, legal counsel, and other stakeholders involved in recovery.
- Implement effective negotiation techniques to resolve outstanding debts.
- Prepare regular reports on collection performance, portfolio status, and recovery trends for senior management.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and disputes related to collections.
