Collection / Recovery Manager

Role Summary: The Collection / Recovery Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's collection and recovery processes for outstanding debts. This role involves developing strategies to minimize bad debts, recover overdue payments, and maintain positive customer relationships where possible. The manager will lead a team, set performance targets, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective debt collection strategies.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the collections department.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and identify high-risk accounts.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with delinquent customers.
- Manage and motivate a team of collection specialists.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to collections and recovery.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in debt collection.
- Collaborate with sales and finance departments to resolve customer disputes and payment issues.
- Analyze collection data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices in debt recovery and customer service.
