Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Collection / Recovery Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the collection and recovery processes for outstanding customer payments, minimizing bad debts, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of our retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce delinquency and improve recovery rates.
- Manage a team of collection agents, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and analyze collection performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Oversee the entire debt recovery lifecycle, from initial contact to legal action when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements related to debt collection in India.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers in default.
- Collaborate with the finance and legal departments to manage risk and resolve complex cases.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and customer interactions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve collection processes and technologies.
