Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Collection / Recovery Manager with 3-5 years of experience to join our finance team in Indore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the collection and recovery processes for outstanding debts, ensuring timely payments, and minimizing financial losses for the company. This role requires a strong understanding of financial regulations, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders. A postgraduate degree in a relevant field is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce aged receivables.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and identify overdue accounts.
- Contact clients via phone, email, or letter to discuss outstanding payments and negotiate payment plans.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with sales, legal, and customer service teams to address collection issues.
- Prepare regular reports on collection performance, aging, and recovery rates for management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant debt collection laws and company policies.
- Identify and escalate high-risk accounts to the relevant departments for further action.
- Continuously evaluate and improve collection processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
