Collection / Recovery Manager | M.Sc Professionals | Ahmedabad

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collection / Recovery Manager with 2-3 years of experience and a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree to join our finance team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and reducing outstanding debts, implementing effective recovery strategies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to debt management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to effectively collect overdue payments from customers.
- Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify potential risks.
- Contact customers through various channels (phone, email, letters) to discuss outstanding balances and negotiate payment plans.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries related to payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and customer interactions.
- Prepare regular reports on collection performance, including recovery rates and outstanding balances.
- Liaise with legal departments or external agencies when necessary for debt recovery.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection practices.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to prevent future delinquencies.
