Collection / Recovery Manager - Urban Transport Sector

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collection / Recovery Manager with 2-3 years of experience to join our team in Indore. This role is crucial for managing outstanding payments and ensuring efficient recovery processes within our dynamic urban transport operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of collection strategies and a proactive approach to resolving payment issues. This position does not require a postgraduate degree.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize delinquency and maximize recovery rates.
- Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts.
- Contact customers via phone, email, and other channels to discuss outstanding payments and negotiate payment arrangements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., finance, legal, operations) to resolve complex collection issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies and legal regulations pertaining to debt collection.
- Prepare regular reports on collection performance, including key metrics and trends, for management review.
- Proactively identify potential risks and propose solutions to mitigate them.
- Handle customer queries and disputes related to payments in a professional and timely manner.
