Collections Executive

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Collections Executive to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and reducing outstanding accounts receivable by contacting customers, negotiating payment plans, and resolving billing disputes. This role is crucial in maintaining healthy cash flow for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage assigned accounts receivable aging reports.
- Initiate contact with customers via phone, email, and other channels to collect overdue payments.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with customers while adhering to company policies.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and customer communications.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other departments to resolve issues affecting collections.
- Prepare regular reports on collection status, aging analysis, and recovery rates.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and escalate potential bad debts or significant collection issues to management.
- Contribute to process improvements in the collections function.
