Collections - LLB Professionals (3-4 Yrs)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Collections Professional with an LLB degree to join our Finance team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in managing corporate collections, focusing on the travel and tourism sector. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely recovery of outstanding payments, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and adhering to legal and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of corporate accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies tailored to the travel and tourism industry.
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, and other channels to discuss overdue invoices and negotiate payment plans.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries promptly.
- Prepare regular reports on collection status, aging receivables, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with the legal department on escalated collection cases and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and client interactions.
- Monitor credit limits and identify opportunities for process improvement in the collections function.
