Colon / Rectal Surgeon

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Colon / Rectal Surgeon to join our medical team. The surgeon will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases and disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus. This role requires exceptional surgical skills, a deep understanding of gastrointestinal anatomy and pathology, and a commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of surgical procedures on the colon, rectum, and anus, including colectomies, proctectomies, and hemorrhoidectomies.
- Diagnose and manage conditions such as colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis), diverticulitis, and anal fistulas/fissures.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative care for patients.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results to inform treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals, including gastroenterologists, oncologists, and radiologists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in colorectal surgery and minimally invasive techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of surgical services.
