Colon / Rectal Surgeon - Clinical Research / Contract Research (3-5 Yrs Exp)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Colon / Rectal Surgeon with a strong understanding of clinical research principles and a business acumen developed through an MBA/PGDM. The ideal candidate will leverage their surgical expertise and business knowledge to contribute to the strategic direction and execution of clinical research projects within the contract research organization (CRO) setting. This role requires a unique blend of clinical insight, analytical skills, and project management capabilities to ensure the successful design, implementation, and oversight of clinical trials, particularly those involving gastrointestinal and colorectal conditions. The candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between clinical practice and research operations, ensuring scientific rigor and commercial viability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the scientific design and protocol development for clinical trials related to colorectal surgery, oncology, and related fields.
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to study teams, ensuring the scientific integrity and feasibility of research protocols.
- Oversee and manage aspects of clinical trial execution, including site selection, investigator engagement, and data interpretation.
- Analyze clinical data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable insights for study sponsors and internal teams.
- Develop business cases and strategic proposals for new clinical research initiatives, aligning with market needs and company objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical affairs, regulatory affairs, project management, and business development, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in colorectal surgery, clinical research methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH-GCP) and internal SOPs.
- Contribute to client relationship management and business development activities, leveraging surgical and business expertise.
