Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commodity Dealer to join our growing medical supply chain team. The Commodity Dealer will be responsible for the procurement and management of essential medical commodities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery to support our hospital operations. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth functioning of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure a wide range of medical commodities, including pharmaceuticals, surgical supplies, and equipment, from reliable vendors.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and supply chain dynamics to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock to meet operational demands and minimize waste.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to procurement and material management.
- Analyze procurement data and generate reports on spending, supplier performance, and cost savings.
- Collaborate with the finance and logistics departments to ensure efficient payment and delivery processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in procurement and supply chain management.
