Commodity Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commodity Manager to oversee procurement strategies for various commodities essential to our live events and entertainment operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services. This role is crucial in optimizing our supply chain and supporting the successful execution of large-scale events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for key commodities (e.g., event production materials, technical equipment, venue services, marketing collateral).
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize value.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and commodity prices to identify risks and opportunities.
- Manage supplier relationships, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring consistent delivery of quality products and services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Marketing, Finance) to understand their needs and ensure procurement alignment.
- Develop and maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and inventory data.
- Implement best practices in supply chain management and procurement processes.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical sourcing practices.
