Commodity Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commodity Manager with a B.Pharma background to join our growing team in Pune. This role will be instrumental in managing and optimizing the procurement of educational materials, digital content resources, and related services for our e-learning platform. The ideal candidate will leverage their pharmaceutical knowledge to understand the scientific and technical aspects of content procurement, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for educational content, software licenses, and other essential resources, with a focus on scientific and technical domains.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to ensure favorable terms and cost savings.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, potential suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities within the EdTech and related scientific sectors.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and budget constraints.
- Analyze spending patterns and commodity market trends to inform procurement decisions.
- Collaborate with content development, academic, and technology teams to understand their needs and ensure procurement meets requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies in procurement processes.
- Utilize B.Pharma knowledge to assess the technical accuracy and relevance of procured scientific and medical content.
