Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commodity Manager with 2-3 years of experience and a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree to join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities for various commodities, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. This role involves strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contributing to the optimization of our supply chain operations within the Business Process Management (BPM) sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategize and execute procurement plans for assigned commodities, aligning with business objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and commodity prices to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Manage day-to-day supplier relationships, resolving issues and ensuring smooth operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their commodity needs and provide procurement support.
- Analyze procurement data to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services, managing inventory levels where applicable.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, savings achieved, and supplier performance.
