Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Community Health & Safety professional to join our team in India. This role will be crucial in ensuring the well-being and safety of our community members, employees, and stakeholders at various events and venues managed or promoted by BookMyShow. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety protocols that comply with local regulations and international best practices, contributing to a secure and positive experience for all involved.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety plans for events and venues, considering potential risks and mitigation strategies.
Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Establish and maintain emergency response procedures, including first aid and evacuation plans.
Collaborate with event organizers, venue managers, and local authorities to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
Provide training and guidance to staff and volunteers on health and safety protocols.
Monitor public health advisories and implement necessary precautions, especially in response to health emergencies.
Investigate any health and safety incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, and incident reports.
