Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as a Community Health & Safety Officer. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the well-being and safety of our employees and stakeholders within the community we operate in, aligning with HDFC Bank's commitment to corporate social responsibility and employee welfare. The position requires a strong understanding of health and safety regulations, community engagement, and risk management within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures tailored to the financial services environment and local community needs.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits across bank branches and operational sites to identify potential hazards.
• Organize and conduct health and safety training programs for employees, focusing on emergency preparedness, first aid, and workplace safety.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with local authorities and community organizations to promote health and safety initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant national and local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
• Maintain accurate records of health and safety activities, incidents, and training.
