Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Competition Risk Analyst to join our team and help us navigate the dynamic Indian power market. This role will be crucial in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential competitive threats to our business, particularly as we expand our renewable energy portfolio and explore new market segments. You will be responsible for monitoring competitor activities, market trends, and regulatory changes to provide strategic insights that protect and enhance our competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape in the Indian power sector, focusing on key players, emerging technologies, and market entry strategies.
* Identify and evaluate potential competitive risks and opportunities, including price wars, technological disruptions, and regulatory shifts.
* Develop and implement frameworks for assessing the impact of competitor actions on our market share, profitability, and strategic objectives.
* Conduct in-depth research on competitor strategies, financial performance, and product/service offerings.
* Collaborate with business development, strategy, and legal teams to develop proactive strategies to counter competitive threats.
* Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on competitive intelligence and risk assessments.
* Stay abreast of relevant antitrust laws and regulations impacting the power industry in India.
* Develop early warning systems to detect potential competitive challenges.
