Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual with a strong legal background, specifically an LLM, to join our team in Gurgaon. This role will focus on supporting our investment activities within the construction and manufacturing sectors, providing legal and strategic insights. While the role is broadly categorized as Construction / Manufacturing - Other, the core responsibilities will revolve around legal due diligence, contract review, compliance, and risk assessment within the context of private equity investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal due diligence on potential investment targets in the construction and manufacturing sectors.
- Review and draft various legal documents, including investment agreements, joint venture agreements, and shareholder agreements.
- Analyze regulatory compliance frameworks relevant to the construction and manufacturing industries in India.
- Provide legal opinions and advice on complex transactions and potential risks.
- Assist in the negotiation of legal terms and conditions for transactions.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations for portfolio companies.
- Support the investment team in all legal aspects of deal execution and portfolio management.
- Research and stay updated on legal developments impacting the construction and manufacturing sectors.
