Construction Materials Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Materials Manager to oversee the procurement, management, and quality control of all construction materials for our aviation infrastructure projects in India. The ideal candidate will ensure timely availability of materials, adherence to specifications, and cost-effectiveness, contributing to the successful and efficient execution of construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive material management strategies for construction projects.
• Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management for construction materials.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites, managing logistics and inventory levels effectively.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures for all incoming materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Manage material budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Maintain accurate records of material inventory, usage, and procurement.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to forecast material needs and resolve any material-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and environmental standards in material handling and storage.
