Construction Materials Manager

Role Summary: The Construction Materials Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, management, and utilization of all construction materials for WPP India's office spaces and any related infrastructure projects. This role requires a strategic approach to material sourcing, cost control, and ensuring the timely availability of high-quality materials while adhering to WPP's sustainability and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive material management strategies for construction projects.
- Source and procure construction materials from reliable vendors, negotiating favorable terms and pricing.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all construction materials, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Monitor material quality and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Manage logistics and transportation of materials to project sites.
- Track material costs and manage the project's material budget effectively.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and material optimization.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure material needs are met.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards in material handling and storage.
- Prepare regular reports on material procurement, inventory, and expenditure.
