Construction Materials Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Materials Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of construction materials for our ongoing and upcoming projects within our pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for procurement, inventory management, quality control, and timely delivery of all construction-related materials to ensure project timelines and budget adherence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for construction materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors for various construction materials.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve optimal terms.
- Manage inventory levels of construction materials, ensuring adequate stock while minimizing waste and holding costs.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures for all incoming materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites.
- Monitor market trends and material availability to anticipate potential shortages or price fluctuations.
- Maintain accurate records of material procurement, inventory, and usage.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and environmental standards in material handling and storage.
- Prepare regular reports on material status, costs, and supplier performance.
