Construction Materials Manager - Import & Export (1-3 Yrs Exp)

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated Construction Materials Manager with 1-3 years of experience to oversee the procurement, management, and logistics of construction materials for our projects. The ideal candidate will have an M.Tech degree and a foundational understanding of material science and supply chain operations within the import and export domain. This role is crucial for ensuring timely availability of quality materials while optimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and implementing material procurement strategies for construction projects, focusing on import and export channels.

Source and evaluate potential suppliers for construction materials, negotiating terms and prices.

Manage inventory levels of construction materials, ensuring adequate stock to meet project demands while minimizing wastage.

Coordinate with logistics and shipping partners to ensure efficient and timely delivery of imported and exported materials.

Ensure compliance with all relevant import/export regulations, customs procedures, and quality standards.

Conduct quality checks on received materials and address any discrepancies or defects.

Maintain accurate records of material procurement, inventory, and costs.

Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
